Ocean Terrace Interiors, a mixed-use development in Miami Beach, Florida, is a collaboration between Robert A.M. Stern Architects (RAMSA) and Revuelta Architecture International. The development comprises two residential towers, a boutique hotel, private club, and restaurant, all unified by classical proportions and an expressive mid-century modern material palette.
The residences are thoughtfully designed to offer unobstructed ocean views from all living rooms and primary bedrooms. The first tower features 52 boutique residences, while the second includes 24 hotel-condo residences. Each unit boasts Parquet de Versailles oak flooring, veined marble, and light wood finishes, with curving balconies that enhance the building’s sleek silhouette.
The grand residential lobby draws inspiration from Miami’s Art Deco and Miami Modern heritage. Decorative entry door screens, a shell motif pediment, and custom brass wall sconces enliven the space, while a reception desk sculpted from dark marble anchors the room. Travertine flooring meets butt-jointed wood paneling reminiscent of mid-century Brazilian interiors, culminating in a grand arch that frames the tropical landscape outside.
Adjacent to the lobby, a semi-circular library and a tearoom share a material palette of travertine, dark wood, and rattan, offering serene spaces that overlook the private garden and the adjacent Raymond Jungles-designed park. These areas provide residents with intimate retreats that reflect the project’s commitment to blending historic charm with modern comforts.
The development’s exterior design by Revuelta Architecture International features flowing, sculptural forms that echo the shoreline, creating a dynamic play of light, shadow, and reflection throughout the day.
