Stefano Boeri Architetti

Stefano Boeri Architetti is a Milan-born design and research practice led by architect and urban planner Stefano Boeri that has been shaping contemporary architecture and urbanism since the early 1990s with a strong focus on ecological thinking and innovative ways of combining nature and buildings. The studio is best known for pioneering the idea of vertical forests, high-rise buildings that integrate trees and plants into their façades to bring biodiversity back into dense cities, and works on projects that range from urban planning to cultural and mixed-use architecture across Europe, Asia and beyond. Boeri himself is a professor of urban planning at the Politecnico di Milano, a leading voice in global discussions on sustainable cities, and President of Triennale Milano, where he continues to advocate for greener, more resilient urban environments.
