Peter Ruge Architekten

Peter Ruge Architekten is a Berlin-based architecture practice committed to sustainable and climate conscious design that aims to shape buildings and urban spaces that resonate with culture, environment and user needs. The firm is led by architect Peter Ruge together with partners Kayoko Uchiyama and Matthias Matschewski and works on new construction, renovation and urban planning with a holistic process rooted in sustainability and thoughtful responses to site and community. Ruge himself is a practising architect and educator who teaches sustainable design at Hochschule Anhalt’s Dessau Institute of Architecture and has held visiting roles at universities in China and Japan, bringing over two decades of international experience to the studio’s work.
