Goethestraße 8, located in Düsseldorf’s Zooviertel district, is an apartment building designed by Sebastian Treese Architekten. The project comprises nine exclusive residences, including two maisonettes with private gardens and a penthouse. The building’s design features a magnolia-white plaster façade with classical detailing, bay windows, loggias, and a balustraded eaves, reflecting the architectural style of Düsseldorf’s Carlstadt and the surrounding bourgeois residences. The base is constructed from Grauwacke and limestone, anchoring the structure in its regional context. The two small gabled pavilions and the ornamental main gable elevate the building, providing expansive rooftop terraces with panoramic city views.

The interior design follows a restrained, classical aesthetic, with herringbone parquet flooring in oiled oak, profiled skirting boards, elegant wall colours in soft grey tones, and premium fittings from Villeroy & Boch and Dornbracht. Bathrooms are clad in natural stone, and bespoke built-in furnishings are included. Technical features such as intruder alarm systems, an air-to-water heat pump, and a photovoltaic system on the extensively greened roof seamlessly unite aesthetics with sustainability. The building’s location in the Zooviertel district offers a tranquil environment with wide pavements and mature trees, combining a sense of calm with the vibrancy of urban living. The nearby Zoopark serves as a green oasis, while the adjacent Flingern district, with its cafés, galleries, and shops, attracts a younger creative crowd. Public transport connections are excellent, and daily essentials are within easy walking distance, blending quality of life with infrastructural strength. Goethestraße 8 unites premium location, architectural distinction, and constructional excellence, offering a residence that is enduring in value, representative in character, and designed with future generations in mind.
